Blue Sky Accountancy is a business that provides a broad range of accounting services to voluntary organisations in Northern Ireland. These range from bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts, grant claims and other client specific projects.

Blue Sky came about due to the current changes in government funding and other funding bodies for the voluntary sector. There is currently a shift for charities and voluntary organisations to share resources, such as the accounts function.

Blue Sky's aims are to shape the market in the way accounting services are delivered and to help groups who are struggling to secure funding for back-office services. It is also planning to convert to a social enterprise during 2009 so that profits earned will be re-invested into the business and donated to organisations.
